We also discussed different ways to visually represent data and worked with an ordered-value bar graph. Notes are available at http://norupstein.weebly.com/math-6-plus-homework-and-answers.
Focus Question:

We collected data for "Potential vs. Kinetic: What's the Connection?"
Homework
Finish computing the average for each of your trials. Once that is done, analyze the data and find the trends. Were you surprised with the outcome? Why or why not? Is there a correlation between the height of release and distance? What about mass and distance? How does potential energy and kinetic energy relate to this activity? Make sure you have at least 3 complete sentences to address the above.
**Reminder: Parents need to complete and return "Getting to Know your Child".
