Kettner - Science - 11/18/2016

What We Did Today
 Students got back their DS quiz and we went over the correct answers. We then went over the "Density of Cubes" lab. Students shared their density calculations which allowed us to compare the density of each cube with the list of known densities in order to identify the substance.

If you did not finish the lab questions last night do so tonight so you can earn back points.

Kettner - Science - 11/17/2016

What We Did Today
We collected data to determine the density of 8 cubes made of various materials. Once they determined the density, students will be able to compare it to a chart that has the density of 10 known substances and try to identify each of their cubes.

Stein - Math 6 Plus

What We Did Today

Students completed Problem 1.3. Students discovered that the median is the middle position of any set of data that is in order from least to greatest. Students added data to existing sets of data to see if the position and/or value of the median changed. We worked through A and B in class.
