What We Did Today
We reviewed the "Claim-Evidence-Reasoning" graphic organizer to start planning their next writing piece. We talked about what would make good evidence. Students are to use CER method to answer the following: What alternative energy source should the state of Michigan invest it's money?
Homework
Collect evidence about what alternative energy source you think the State of Michigan should invest more money in. You need at least three sound reasons that you can support with evidence - current data and statistics. The final paper is due Thursday for hours 1-5 and Friday for hours 6 and 8. The paper must be typed and must include a bibliography using MLA format. We will discuss how to the bibliography in class tomorrow.
