Kettner - Science - 11/3/2016

What We Did Today
Hours 2-5: Students turned in their papers. Many students had issues with the bibliography so we reviewed how to use the website  "Easy bib" to make a proper bibliography. We then started discussing what properties are. Hours 6-8: We reviewed how to use the website "Easy bib" to make a proper bibliography. Students are to finalize their papers tonight by using their evidence to help support their claim.

Homework
Hours 6-8 need to finish their papers. You should have collected evidence about what alternative energy source you think the State of Michigan should invest more money in.  You need at least three sound reasons that you can support with evidence - current data and statistics. We reviewed the "Claim-Evidence-Reasoning" graphic organizer to start planning their next writing piece. We talked about what would make good evidence. Students are to use CER method to answer the following: What alternative energy source should the state of Michigan invest it's money?

Homework

You need at least three sound reasons that you can support with evidence - current data and statistics. The final paper is due Thursday for hours 1-5 and Friday for hours 6 and 8.
