We took the properties of matter quiz today. After the quiz, they had time to work on "WS 1-4: Elements from the Earth".

Today, the students did peer revisions of their character analysis essays and then used the feedback to revise their own essays.

WERBER: Turn in a printed copy of your final draft and your revised rough draft on Monday.

What We Did Today
We corrected "Mass, Volume and Density without numbers". Students then took notes about what/how to prepare for a quiz this Friday. I have placed a copy of the "Quiz info - Properties of matter" into Science Files.

Today, the students worked on organizing their ideas for their character analysis essay using either a four square or an outline.

Rossiter Homework
Monday: All students need to have their 3 supporting examples, evidence, and reasoning typed in their outline.
Read (spend at least 20 min a night) and look for Signposts-record on sticky notes and keep them in your book

Tuesday: All students need to have their introduction and conclusion typed in their outline.  All outlines must be completed for Wednesday's class!
