Reading:
We began a read aloud, The Ranger's Apprentice (Fantasy reading). Students are expected to begin a Fantasy book (after their current book).
We will have a word of day each day (Mon-Thurs) with a quiz on Friday.
Werber Block 2/3 M-Step Tuesday & Wednesday
Writing:
Beginning Non-Fiction writing this week (Inform and Explain). We will start the unit with an inquiry into real-world writing in this genre and complete a variety of Kelly's Gallagher's writing activities this week in class.
