Writing: Essay Bootcamp - The Three Little Pigs, using the four square organizer to write a literary essay
                
Tuesday -   
Reading:  Begin read aloud, Hour of the Bees
Writing: Literary essay - Growing big ideas about characters from details

Wednesday -
Reading:  Looking at character actions & meaning in Hour of the Bees
Writing: Literary essay - What a character wants
                   
Thursday -
Reading:  Read aloud Hour of the Bees and thinking about claims
Writing: Creating claims about Winnie and creating a four square

Friday -
Reading:  Hour of the Bees - Deepening an existing claim by citing evidence
Writing: Summarizing, Storytelling, and Quoting - evidence and using transitions


Homework
Read (spend at least 15 min a night)
Next AR book due Monday 11/28 (In order to write an essay about your character)
